Certified Coach & Chief Change Engineer: Shelle Cleveland
For Shelle, coaching is not just her job…it is her passion.
With over 25 years of experience in leading and creating meaningful change in high performance organizations, Shelle has collaborated with leaders across a wide spectrum. From CEOs and C-suite executives to developing leaders to aspiring or future leaders, Shelle uses her diverse background to instill change with her clients to achieve desired results.
As a natural leader, coach, and mentor, Shelle strategically and successfully transforms and directs all facets of organization change. She specifically has extensive experience in due diligence, acquisitions, cultural integration, and individual and organizational development.
For Shelle, coaching is a partnership between the client and the coach. Her ultimate goal is meeting the needs of her client through a confidential, trusting environment that allows both individual and organizations the ability to determine their goals and identify the change process to achieve those goals.
During her 18-year tenure at General Electric, Shelle held several HR business leadership roles in the financial services and aviation sectors. Additionally, Shelle served as the chief HR officer for a privately-held aviation company and, earlier in her career, she worked in human resources with Allstate Insurance Company and PepsiCo.
In addition to facilitating performance results while in her executive roles, Shelle has led professional development workshops for external organizations, including the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). Shelle has served on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations as well.
Shelle received a B.A. in Communications from Hampton University in Hampton, VA, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, IL.
